Dear Valued Guest,

Effective immediately, Broward County has issued Emergency Order 20-01 to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and aid in relief efforts. This order limits the types of guests that are permitted to stay in hotels and resorts in Broward County, which includes both the Hyde Resort & Residences and the Hyde Beach House.

According to the Emergency Order, only the following groups are currently permitted to stay in hotels and resorts at this time:

• Healthcare professionals
• First responders
• National Guard
• Law enforcement
• State government employees
• Federal government employees
• Airline crew
• Medical patients and their families
• Journalists
• Others providing direct services or relief in response to COVID-19
• Displaced residents or visitors
• Individuals using hotels and resorts as transitional living arrangements
• Individuals sheltering in hotels and resorts due to domestic violence
• Hotel employees, service providers, and contractors
• Individuals who are temporarily unable to reside in their home due to exigent circumstances
• Current condominium owners in the Hyde Resort & Residences or the Hyde Beach House

If you are part of one of the above groups, we remain open and ready to welcome you. Please review our website for information on our room and rate availability or to make your reservation. Additionally, please note that on-property services and amenities may be limited at this time.

If you are not part of the above groups, we apologize for the inconvenience. Your business is important to us, and we look forward to welcoming you back for a future stay.

Finally, we know that some of you may need to make changes to your future travel plans as a result of the current pandemic. We have updated our cancellation policy to better accommodate these changes. The updated policy is as follows:

Government Restrictions: In regions affected by government-issued travel restrictions, we will continue to waive change fees or offer full refunds.
Existing Reservations: All reservations – even those described as non-cancellable (“Advanced Purchase”) – that are scheduled for arrival before April 30, 2020 can be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival for areas with travel bands.
Reservations Canceled Before 3/15/2020: Refunds will not be extended for previous canceled reservations prior to notice.
New Reservations: Any reservation you make – even those described as “non-cancellable” (“Advanced Purchase”) – that are booked between today and April 30, 2020 for any future arrival date, can be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival.
