Gin, Art, and Yellow Green

September 02, 2019

Distill your own gin – No bathtub needed, just head over to South Florida Distillers in Fort Lauderdale on any Saturday morning. Create your flavor, then distill, bottle, and label your very own custom gin!

FATVillage ArtWalk – Recurring monthly on the last Saturday of the month, this is Ft. Lauderdale’s original art walk, and it’s one fabulous evening of art, food, and music. Located in Fort Lauderdale's Flagler Village neighborhood, FATVillage ArtWalk allows you to connect with musicians, painters, sculptors, designers, and creative types of every stripe. Be sure to scope out the open art galleries, local food trucks, and vendor stalls.

Go Yellow Green – South Florida’s largest Farmers Market features fresh, organic, and locally grown fruit and produce, freshly-caught fish, herbs, Amish butter, free-range organic meats, dried goods, and specialty items. (Quail eggs or kombucha, anyone?) You’ll also find tons of plant-based body products, gluten and dairy-free treats, spices, coffees, pasta, baked goods, local honey, wine, beer, plants, and more. The Yellow Green Market is open year-round on Saturdays and Sundays.
